Policies
a) General
  • 100% of Rental Charges to be paid at the time of booking.
  • 12.36% of Service Tax extra.
  • Main Kitchen or extra kitchen will be made available from 9AM on the day of booking only based on availability. If required earlier and if available, a nominal hourly rate will be charged.
  • All meter readings will be recorded during check-in and check-out procedure. Electricity, cooking gas, generator & water charges vary depending upon the usage. We, at SMB, do not have control or manipulate those charges and what you use is what you pay. As an example you will only pay for generator charges if there is a power outage.
  • A nominal advance for AC, Cleaning, Cooking gas, EB/Generator, Water and rooms have to be paid 15days before the function. Balance will be due in full after the event is over and in case of less usage a refund will be provided.
  • Non Vegetarian food not allowed in premises
  • No consumption of any type of alcoholic beverages in premises
  • Any damages or breakages to the Marriage Hall fixed or movable assets/ equipments will be charged at cost to fix or replace/repair it. Damages that might have happened due to normal wear and tear will not be charged.

b) Cancellation policy:
For any cancellation, following conditions/clauses apply.
  • If the cancellation is done 90 days prior to the event a full refund will be provided in the event of the marriage hall being rebooked for the same date by another party else the payment made will be retained by SMB. During such cases of a full refund, a 10% will be charged to cover overhead and other booking charges.
  • If the cancellation is done 75 days prior to the event, 75% will be refunded in the event of the marriage hall being rebooked for the same date by another party else the payment made will be retained by SMB.
  • If the cancellation is done 60 days prior to the event, 60% will be refunded in the event of the marriage hall being rebooked for the same date by another party else the payment made will be retained by SMB.
  • If the cancellation is done less than 60 days prior to the event, 50% will be refunded in the event of the marriage hall being rebooked for the same date by another party else the payment made will be retained by SMB.

However at SMB, we value your business & happiness and hence will be open to consider the circumstances for which you are cancelling the event and will try to work with you to your satisfaction and refund as much as possible within or beyond our above guidelines.

c) Postponement policy:
For any postponement following conditions/clauses apply.
  • If the postponement is done 90 days prior to the event the entire booking amount will be applied to the new date. A 10% rebooking charges will be applied.
  • If the postponement is done 75 days prior to the event, 75% of the rent paid will be applied to the new date in the event of the hall being rebooked for the original (first) booking date else the payment made will be retained by SMB.
  • If the postponement is done 60 days prior to the event, 60% of the rent paid will be applied to the new date in the event of the hall being rebooked for the original (first) booking date else the payment made will be retained by SMB.
  • If the postponement is done less than 60 days prior to the event, 50% of the rent paid will be applied to the new date in the event of the hall being rebooked for the original (first) booking date else the payment made will be retained by SMB.
